This is how the 14-inch telescope is put under the roof. Please look at the gaps at the top end and the bottom end of the interior wall boards. This is to let the warmed air in the walls out as quickly as possible for better seeing.
The mount foundations are separated from the floor and vibration free.
When the roofs are closed, we cover the rails to prevent them from snow that would freeze the rails.
Each roof is secured by three turnbuckle fasteners. This system has survived the typhoons so far.

The roof is kept from deformation with two long turnbuckles. The interior surface of the roof is backed with sponge-like subastance to prevent it from gathering dew drops.
